SpaceNews Exploring (Office) Space
SpaceNews Press Release
As we look to accommodate our growth as the newspaper and digital publication of record for the space industry, SpaceNews is looking for office space near a Metro stop in the Northern Virginia area, preferably Arlington or Alexandria.
Since its launch in 1989, SpaceNews has been co-located in Springfield with other publications that are now a part of Gannett’s Government Media group. SpaceNews has been a separate company since 2000.
The past year has been a busy one. We have a new owner, a new publisher, and a mandate to expand our portfolio of offerings to the industry, particularly in the digital realm. To do so, we need more space. No pun intended.
SpaceNews Vice President and General Manager Paul McPherson explained, “This is a very exciting time to be a part of SpaceNews as we grow and continue to fulfill our mission of delivering to the industry the information they need on the platforms that they desire. We are looking to approximately double the amount of space we currently occupy (to about 4000 square feet) to grow the business; if anyone in the industry knows of any attractive space by all means give me a call at 703 750 8651 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
“We’re moving, but we’re not going anywhere, so to speak,” said SpaceNews Editor Warren Ferster. “Finding an appropriate space to accommodate our expansion is a bit like news gathering: It entails research from sources both public and private, and tips from our readers.”
SpaceNews will be sure to let our readers know of our new location once we’ve moved.
