He captured the world's attention as NASA guided the Curiosity rover to Mars last year -- a guy with a decidedly un-nerd-like mohawk working in the control room.
Now, Bobak Ferdowsi, otherwise known as "Mohawk Guy," has been tapped to march in next week's inaugural parade. He will walk with fellow NASA scientists alongside a full-scale replica of the Curiosity rover, the inaugural committee announced.
